Pearse Irish Whiskey 5 Year Old

The first Pearse whiskey to come from their own stills. The stills which are currently in Pearse Lyons Distillery, Co.Dublin had a temporary home at the Carlow Brewery - home to O'Hara's Craft Beer. The vendome stills were originally made in Louisville, Kentucky and were previously used at Alltech's Lexington Brewing Company. The nose has crisp, citrus notes and a spiced vanilla aroma. There are mellow malt tones and some honied, floral fruit. Smooth and citrusy on the palate, there are also hints of spearmint and semi-sweet chocolate. Finished with creamy vanilla and light caramel hints.
