Dows qiunta do bomfim vintage port 2013

Quinta do Bomfim is one of the finest estates in the Upper Douro, and has been owned by Dow's since 1896. Dow's make a slightly drier port than other houses. As well as being produced from very old vines, there is a high percentage of premium Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional grapes. The result is a rich, sweet and perfectly balanced fortified wine. In youth, this is a delicious wine, fragrant with black fruits, hint of violets and spice. As it ages, it gives more dried fruits (raisins, prune, fig).

Food pairing: Enjoy with properly mature Stilton or other Irish blue cheese.
